Donations:

Being a student-run sports club, CalFS does not receive much funding from the university, and its operation relies much on other funding sources. Figure skating is an expensive sport: each CalFS member pays at least $2000 each season to cover expenses such as practice ice, costumes, equipment, traveling, and private coaching. Since its establishment, CalFS has been qualified to compete on a national level. Your financial support to help us maintain this tradition is greatly appreciated. Any level of donation will help and is tax-deductable!

Sponsorship:

Our large-scale competitions - whether at home or away - are open to members of the skating and various college communities. You can promote your company at such events by having your logo or ad printed on: our team banner, competition programs, event party favors, and so on.

 

Here are the different levels of donations if you sponsor Golden Bears Skate:

Silver - products or coupons
- Donations of any Potential Sponsor products will be distributed at the competition, and will be labeled as gifts from Sponsor specifically. Skater goodie bag donations should preferably accommodate 50 people.

Gold - $100
- For a donation of $100 for this competition, we will print sponsor's name in the competition programs.

Platinum - $150
- For a donation of $150 for this competition, we will print sponsor's name in the competition programs, as well as announce potential sponsor as a sponsor before the start of the competition.

Diamond - $225
- For a donation of $225 for this competition, we will print sponsor's name in the competition programs, announce potential sponsor as a sponsor before the start of and at the end of the competition, and put sponsor's name on a Berkeley Figure Skating Club banner to hang at the rink on the day of the competition.
